| Corporate HTTP Instant Messaging System (80-IMS) |
Available 4th quarter of 2004
Regular Instant Messaging (IM) uses special port to communicate between peers. It means that IT Department has to open a special port for the software that could leads to opening a potential security risk to the corporation intranet.
Regular IM uses centralize servers to track the communication between users. Since the server is located outside the firewall, it simply means that a user from a particular corporation could transmit sensitive conversation and data over the in-secure internet.
Considering those two facts, our IM solutions, 80-IMS, uses http port for communications between peers with the centralize server inside your corporation firewall.
That alone could reduce the workload of your IT Department and reduce the potential security breach on the un-managed open ports.
In addition to that, 80-IMS also can be extended to communicate between corporations. A group of people from “Corporation A” can be setup to have an open communication with http port with groups of people from other corporations provided each corporation has 80-IMS server.

P2PDS uses the latest technologies in peer to peer (P2P) networking to manage active documents. The nature of P2P network is to broadcast messages to its peers automatically. P2PDS uses that to synchronize documents in a group so everybody has the same and updated documents. With that capability, projects can use P2PDS to share documents. In addition to that, P2PDS also uses the power to Wi-Fi 802.11b for handhelds and non-wired notebooks to synchronize each others.
